Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Philadelphia, PA – July 20, 2010 — RES Software, the global leader in user workspace management software, today announced the appointment of international finance executive Marc Zinnemers as Vice President of Finance for EMEA.
Zinnemers will be responsible for leading all corporate finance, IT, legal, operations and back office functions at RES Software, and he will also support the company’s growing United States team.
Zinnemers has established expertise in operational financial activities as well as controlling and management reporting. He brings more than 15 years of experience to his new role, including various senior finance positions at IT and advisory firms with specific expertise in fast-growing software organizations. Zinnemers is widely respected for his hands-on management style, his ability to build meaningful management reporting systems and implement/manage revenue recognition processes, and his long-term experience in managing finance teams at a local and global level. His experience with U.S.-based public companies also adds value as the company continues its global expansion.

Most recently, Zinnemers served as Finance Executive at Blue H Technologies, where he brought the company through the financial crisis by taking it from seed capital phase to an income generating company. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Corporate Finance and Administration for Gartner IT Research and Advisory Firm and was EMEA Controller for i2 Technologies. He also worked for both Exact Software and Akzo Nobel Pharma Group after earning his finance degree from the University of Tilburg in The Netherlands.
