Solution Engineer

Our Customer Care department is an informal organization consisting of highly-motivated specialists and generalists that focus on innovation and team work within an agile framework. All members of the Customer Care Department are passionate about solving problems and finding technical solutions that truly address the needs of our customers. RES Software serves organizations of any size from SMBs to large enterprises to government entities. The company has 2,500 customers and expertise in all established vertical markets with an emphasis on government, healthcare and education. For a new team within the Support department, we are looking for a: Solution Engineer.
Solution Engineer
As a Solution Engineer, your objective is to create a high level of customer and partner satisfaction and loyalty. Building solid technical relationships with our large and enterprise customers is your responsibility. You are the face of RES Software and you will liaise between the customer’s management, IT architects and technical specialists on the one hand and product management, support engineers, software engineers and sales engineers on the other.
This includes activities such as: post sales, client management, technical implementations and knowledge transfer. As a technical subject matter expert, you will advise RES Software customers about the entire RES Software product line including its related technologies. You will drive important architectural designs according to customers’ needs. You will support and educate system integrators and RES software partners. Establishing realistic and achievable strategies beyond your technical activities that exceed customer needs is one of your primary goals. Providing onsite support and managing technical escalation paths will be additional tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7-10 years experience in ICT, with a minimum of 3 years as a technical consultant/ architect working in enterprise environments.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good knowledge about Itil and project management (Prince2) methods
- Excellent knowledge about Server Based Computing and VDI concepts
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Willing to travel, up to 70%

Education
- Bachelor degree, preferably an IT related education
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer is a preference
- Citrix Certified Administrator is a preference
- RES Software Certified Professional is a preference
