Andre M. Boisvert
Chairman of the Board

Andre Boivert began his career with IBM in 1976 where he held senior management positions in sales, marketing and research & development. After IBM, Boisvert held executive positions in some of the most respected companies in the tech industry, such as Cognos Inc., where he held various senior level positions during their transformation to a business intelligence software company, and Oracle Corporation, where he served as senior vice president of worldwide marketing and a member of Oracle’s management committee. In 2000, Mr. Boisvert was recruited as President and Chief Operation Officer of SAS Institute Inc., the world’s largest privately held software company with revenues currently exceeding $3 billion a year. He then joined one of SAS’ investments and became Chairman & CEO of Sagent Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: SGNT), which he successfully sold to Group 1 Software Inc. (NASDAQ: GSOF). Mr. Boisvert also has experience with several other privately and publicly held companies in both the U.S. and Europe. 

Bob Janssen
Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Bob Janssen is the Founder and Chief Technical Officer of RES Software. He has been responsible for product vision, strategy and development at RES Software since founding the company in 1999 and acts as the most prominent RES Software spokesperson at industry events. He was instrumental in the creation of the RES Software flagship products, RES Workspace Manager and RES Automation Manager, released in 1999 and 2005, respectively. During his tenure, RES Software has sold well over three million licenses worldwide and his development team has issued more than 10 major releases. Mr. Janssen also holds several patents for the solutions he has developed at RES Software such as the 2010 patent for reverse seamless technology featured in RES Virtual Desktop Extender and other patents dating back to  2003.

Prior to founding RES Software, Mr. Janssen worked in several IT departments where he faced the day to day struggles of managing corporate desktops and delivering IT to users. This firsthand understanding inspired him to create products that solve the problems experienced by IT professionals on a regular basis and to coin the term “Workspace Management.” Bob worked as a System Administrator and later as a Software Developer building pragmatic software solutions using the eXtreme Programming (XP) methodology for Air Liquide, and as an Information Architect for Schenker, where he modeled, designed and supervised the construction of system and enterprise-level application solutions. He holds a Business Computing degree from the Fontys University of Applied Sciences.

Elderd Land
Board Observer

Elderd Land is partner at Gimv, a leading European investment company, listed on Euronext Brussels and managing around 1.8 billion EUR. Since 2000, he has been involved in multiple success stories in the technology and healthcare sectors. He is an engaged board member and sparring partner for entrepreneurs and executives, and has a focus on business building and value creation within portfolio companies. Prior to Gimv, Mr. Land worked at ABN AMRO Corporate Finance as head of the telecom sector team in Amsterdam, and at KPN Telecom in the international business development group. In both roles, he was involved in a wide range of M&A transactions in Europe and Asia.

Mr. Land holds a Master in Business Administration from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (the Netherlands).

Richard Moseley

Mr. Moseley was appointed to the RES Software Board of Directors in 2014, bringing to the Board his great depth of experience with the international sale of high technology products. He is currently Vice President of International Business at Rapid7, which offers an advanced IT security data and analytics technology solution. Previously, during his long tenure at Quest Software (now Dell), he held numerous international leadership roles including VP EMEA and Asia Pacific, Data Protection, and Managing Director EMEA. He has also held key sales roles at FastLane, True Software and Comshare, after launching his career with Borland, the leader in software deployment solutions. Mr. Moseley is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University and resides in the UK.

James Socas

Mr. Socas is a general partner of Updata Partners, a leading technology growth equity firm based out of Washington DC. Earlier in his career, he served on the global leadership team at Symantec, and he was a managing director and senior investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.  Mr. Socas has completed a range of succesful investments in the U.S., Europe and Asia, and he has worked with many of the leading enterprise and consumer software companies on M&A, initial public offerings, capital raising and restructuring. Mr. Socas is a graduate of the Harvard Business School and the University of Virginia.
